If your flight is delayed or your travel plans change, you can contact your driver directly without going through a travel agency or booking agent. This allows us to quickly check whether urgent changes, such as a different pickup time or delivery destination, can be accommodated. While we cannot guarantee that every request can be fulfilled, we will do our best to assist you whenever possible. Additional charges may apply for changes to your booking.

Most hotels with a front desk can receive your luggage before check-in. We will check with your hotel in advance to confirm they can accept your luggage. Please provide the reservation name and your check-in date so we can verify the arrangement with your hotel.

We do not offer unattended delivery. A recipient must be present to receive your luggage upon delivery. Please provide the recipient’s name and contact information in advance.

Covered by Cargo Liability Insurance
Cargo liability insurance covers the suitcase or baggage itself. Personal belongings inside are not covered.
For your peace of mind, the owner-driver carries cargo liability insurance with coverage up to ¥5,000,000 per transportation accident. If the declared value of your cargo exceeds this amount, additional insurance can be arranged upon request.
What Is an Akabou Charter Service?
Akabou is a nationwide network of independent owner-drivers. Akabou drivers use dedicated kei trucks for direct transportation throughout Japan.
If the Akabou member assigned to your request is unavailable, another trusted Akabou owner-driver will assist.
There is no additional charge for the assigned driver traveling from their own base to your pickup location.
